April 16, 2007 | unfortunate experience...
well. The national tour had to be adandoned...
In San Antonio I had a major bus breakdown...Some money was wired and I got to North Carolina (family), to get it working again. There were problems between myself and my drummer, so he went home to seattle and I went on my way. I will be rescheduling to tour shortly with a new drummer....Thanks

January 20, 2007 | hello. preparing again to go out and about. Even more this time.
Well I seem to be in the middle of nowhere in WA. Getting our little short bus ready to go on the national tour. Vewry excited and stir crazy as hell. I hope to see you all in your respective areas.... Bringing the doggits with me so you can meet my real friends.....

October 23, 2006 | Notes from the home office....
Hi everyone! The tour is going great, or as great as you can expect when you have the human incarnation of chaos and entropy in your band. After battling a sore throat in the days up to leaving, Jenny developed full blown laryngitis in San Francisco. So the doctors gave her some horse steroids or something, crazy stuff that they only give to singers who need their throats fixed yesterday.

But she's feeling better now, and is enjoying a night off living the rock star life in Los Angeles. And by living the rock star life, I mean she's doing her laundry.

Thanks to everyone who has come to seen us so far, and to everyone in Phoenix, Albequerque, Denver, SLC, Spokane and Olympia, hopefully we'll see you at a show!

October 10, 2006 | TOURING
Polly Panic is On THE ROAD. Its a good place to be. Touring in the west in Oct, Nov, and ending in Dec.
Then we are going National in Feb. So. Check the show listings and come see us...

September 24, 2006 | Painkiller release show
The CD release show will be at Holocene in sunny Portland, OR. October fourth. Doors at nine pm. Rocking your ass will be Hairspray Blues, followed by the wonderful beautiful mad genius Zoe Keating, formerly of Rasputina. I am honored to have both of these incredible artists playing with me. I strongly encourage you all to show up early, lend them your ears, and get yourself good and drunk. There is nothing like a depressant to chase the blues away!

You cannot imagine how excited I am about this. For three years I have been working on this album. I have gone through more engineers than I can count. More useless recordings trying to capture the soul of the cello. More bottles of vodka. More Effexor. More nights I cannot remember. More days that I wish I could forget. It feels so good to have this done.
